Hello all,
In honor of the start of the academic year we have big news to share! Starting Monday, August 18, 2025, we will stay open until 5:00 pm on weekdays. Opening and closing hours on Saturdays will remain the same.
Back to School season is in full swing and we're celebrating with our 2025 Book Fest! Come to the library for a day full of books and reading! For the entire day our sales section will be on sale at $5 for a shopping bag full of books. As customary we will also be offering Blast from the Past memberships for the first 10 members who claim them.
Our Blast From the Past memberships are offered during some of our activities for $2, the original price of our memberships when we opened more than 30 years ago. This year we will be offering 10 renewals to the first members that claim them. You do not need to already have a previous Blast from the Past membership to apply for this renewal; any of our members active or inactive are eligible to receive Blast From the Past memberships.
If you have any fines, we will also be offering fine amnesty all day! Simply head to the desk with one of our volunteers and they will clear those fines for you free of charge. For our families with little ones, we will also be offering a story time and craft time. Remember to stay until 12pm for free pizza!
