Hello all,

This Saturday we're celebrating the end of our 2025 Summer Reading Contest with more reading! Join us for a story time session at 11am with a high school student selected by the National Museum of the American Latino of the Smithsonian Institution.

They will be reading the book, Paletero Man, written by Latin Grammy award winner, Lucky Diaz, and illustrated by celebrated artist, Micah Player. Stay until 12pm for free pizza!

When: Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 11:00am

Where: San Juan Community Library

Remember you still have until Tuesday, July 15, 2025 to bring in your activity sheets for the summer reading contest and get all of your tickets! Good luck and happy reading to you all!

The library will be closed for Summer Break from Thursday, July 17, 2025 to Sunday, July 27, 2025. Book donations will not be accepted during this time as we cannot process them during our summer break. We will reopen on Monday, July 28, 2025 under our regular hours.
