Hello all,
After school hours at the library are here! Starting this week, we will stay open until 5:00 pm on weekdays. Opening and closing hours on Saturdays will remain the same.
This Saturday, come to the library for a day full of books with our 2025 Back to School Fest! For the entire day our sales section will be on sale at $5 for a shopping bag full of books. For our families with children, we will also be offering a story time and craft time. As customary we will also be offering Blast from the Past memberships for the first 10 members who claim them.
Our Blast From the Past memberships are offered during some of our activities for $2, the original price of our memberships when we opened almost 40 years ago. This year we will be offering 10 renewals to the first members that claim them. You do not need to already have a previous Blast from the Past membership to apply for this renewal; any of our members active or inactive are eligible to receive Blast From the Past memberships.
If you have any fines, we will also be offering fine amnesty all day! Simply head to the desk with one of our volunteers and they will clear those fines for you free of charge. Remember to stay until 12pm for free pizza!
