With summer quickly approaching, we are gearing up for our 2025 Summer Reading Contest. Summer is a special time of year for our library's youngest readers to choose books that speak to their hearts. This activity is open to library members, ages 2 to 18.
How does it work?
Choose a book to read.
For every book you read, you must complete an activity (ex: suggest a new title for the book, draw your favorite scene from the book).We provide you a coupon for every completed activity.
Every coupon that you earn is good for our raffle of 4 reading tablets.
The contest starts on Monday, June 2, 2025 and ends Tuesday, July 15, 2025. The winning tickets will be drawn on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 and winners will be notified after 1:30pm. Stop by the library and sign up whenever you like! Good luck to you all and happy reading!
Additional Announcements:
We will be closed on Monday, May 26, 2025 in observation of Memorial Day. We will also be closed from Wednesday, June 4, 2025 to Friday, June 6, 2025 due to ongoing remodeling of the former stage area. Remember that anytime we are closed, any book you are unable to return doesn't incur extra fines. You can also access our catalog of ebook and audiobooks 24/7 though the Libby app.
