Executive Director’s Message

All of us at the San Juan Community Library in San Juan, Puerto Rico cherish the vital function that we share in the lives of our patrons and visitors.  For twenty-three years we have served a diverse population by providing the free access to books and computers along with activities to support and strengthen our community.  A library in it its caregiver role to preserve and provide information is a caretaker of liberty.  At our community library we strive to serve these vital functions in an atmosphere that is comfortable and serviceable for our users and our staff.  With this type of outlook, we should well be able to secure our future for the benefit of us all.

Please let us know of any activities that you would like to partake in or offer here at our community library.  We are always interested in adding new classes to our activities.  We also hope that you will consider helping us a few hours a week or every other week as a library volunteer.  Our library functions with an excellent staff comprised completely of volunteers and a paid part time executive director.  Your help makes a difference for the entire community.  No experience is necessary. We will train you.  Just bring us your willing hands and heart.  Thanks so much for your consideration.
